About
Margot’s childhood in a small town in Ohio, coupled with the creative support of her artist parents set the stage for her world of imagination and expression.
At an early age, Margot’s connection to nature and sensitivity to the creatures, human and otherwise, in her life, unleashed her artistic talents, both in visual works and storytelling.
She has illustrated and designed numerous books for published authors. She has won awards and been published as a cartoonist.
Her love of whimsy, magic and lively colors pepper her themes. Though her main body of work is
watercolor, she has recently leapt off into the world of pastels.
Margot lives in a bird and coyote inhabited part of LA, with old homes perched above stone stairways, surrounded by lemon and eucalyptus trees, with her husband and 2 cats.
