    About the Book

    Edit

    More than a cookbook — it’s a movement.

Sunday Dinner is a celebration of the tables that have held our laughter, our love, and our stories for generations. Inside, you’ll find cherished recipes passed down through time, alongside the heartfelt narratives that bring them to life. These pages capture the soul of Black family tradition.

This cookbook is part of the BLK Sunday Dinner Community — a cultural initiative powered by Julie Alexandra Living and Sledge House Media — dedicated to preserving and uplifting the tradition of Black family gatherings. Every recipe is a story, every story is a memory, and every memory is an invitation to keep the tradition alive.

Pull up a chair, pass the cornbread, and join us in keeping Sunday dinner sacred.
